The Thorsby volleyball team defeated Munford (25-23, 26-24) and lost to Fultondale (20-25, 18-25) and Oak Grove (15-25, 21-25) in a tournament on Saturday at Oak Grove.

Brittany Maddox, who was named to the all-tournament team, recorded six kills and seven digs in the three matches.

All-tournament honorable mention Keri Whitman had 11 aces. Stephanie Moore contributed five kills and one block.
