Jemison’s Eric Argo and Isabella’s Krysta Tyler are The Clanton Advertiser’s boys and girls players of the week, respectively.

Argo led Jemison on Aug. 28 to a 28-21 win over Chilton County High that snapped a four-game losing streak to the Tigers. Argo completed nine of 29 passes for 120 yards and one touchdown. He also rushed 15 times for 94 yards and three touchdowns.

Tyler’s 13 assists and seven aces led Isabella to a 25-17, 25-16, 25-14 win over Thorsby on Aug. 28.
