Lillian Pierce Johnson, 91, of Billingsley died Tuesday, Aug. 12 at her residence.
She was born on Thursday, Feb. 1, 1917, in Chilton County, daughter of the late James E. Pierce and the late Emma Susan Hale. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her loving family, daughter, Linda J. Parker of Billingsley; daughter, Glenda J. Shaver (Gerald) of Scottsboro; sister Jessie Mae Traywick; grandchildren; Shannon Corn (Tommy), Brad Shaver (Lesli), Chris Shaver, Michael Shaver, Jason Parker, Amanda Hovis (Joey); great-grandchildren, Justin Corn (presently serving a tour of duty in Iraq), Kristin Corn, Matty and Trent Shaver, Austin, Alex and Jacob Hovis and Landon Shaver; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Evelyn and J.T. Lloyd of Billingsley, Ethel and Gerald Powell of Birmingham, Ernestine Ward of Oak Creek, Wis.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Irby E. Johnson.
Mrs. Johnson was one of the oldest members of Bethsalem Baptist Church. She was a precious loving mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed. She lived life to the fullest and she loved her family and everyone she knew.

Friends were received Thursday, Aug. 14, at Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held today at 11 a.m. at Bethsalem Baptist Church with the Rev. Brad Eubank and the Rev. Robert Sandifer officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
