Gladys Cleckler

Gladys H. Cleckler, 91, of Clanton died Monday, Aug. 11, in Clanton.
She was born on Tuesday, July 17, 1917, in Jefferson County, daughter of the late John Higgins and the late Columbia Higgins.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her daughter, Hazel (Cecil) Cleckley of Clanton; son, Tim (Sheila) Cleckler of Clanton; granddaughter, Crystal (Jerry) Russell of Clanton; two grandsons, Rex (Amy) Cleckler of Clanton, Chris (Rachel) Cleckley of Clanton; three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dalton Cleckler, son, O’neal Cleckler, son, Wayne Cleckler.
Friends were received from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 12. Services will be held Wednesday, Aug. 13, at 2 p.m. at Zion Ridge Church of God with the Rev. Tony Thomas, the Rev. Robert Barnes, the Rev. Ken Northcutt and the Rev. Melvin Massey officiating.
Interment will follow in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery, Clanton.
