Ronald Lynn and Carol Smitherman are proud to announce the marriage of their daughter, Meghan Lynn Smitherman to Terry Edward Taylor, son of Donnie and Betty Taylor of Columbiana.

The bride is the the granddaughter of Pettus and Clara Smith and the late Rube and Merel Smitherman.

She is a graduate of Chilton County High School and is now employed at Baptist South Hospital in Montgomery.

The bride-groom is the grandson of Flora Vining and the late Amos Vining of Columbiana and the late Aubrey of Colton and Minnie Lou Cotney of Chelsea.

He is a graduate of Shelby County High School and is a self employed owner-operator.

The couple exchanged their vows on Friday Aug. 8. Their service began at 6 p.m. at New Hope Assembly of God Church.

The ceremony was officiated by Rev. Shane Wyatt and a reception followed at the Grand Ole Pumpkin Patch.

All friends and family were invited to attend the special occasion.
