Christine Rhodes and Glenn Roper are pleased to announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.

The bride-elect is a resident of Clanton. She is the mother of Norma (Billy) Driver of Prattville, Donnie (Cecelia) Rhodes of Clanton and Kevin (Tammy) Rhodes of Clanton. She has six grandchildren, Justin Driver, Dylan Rhodes, Cameron Rhodes, Keilian Mims, Nick Clark and Dexter Clark.

The bride-groom is a resident of Prattville. He is the father of Sharon Roper Register of Prattville.

The couple will vow their lives to one another, in the Spirit of Christian Joy, and become united in Christ on Sat. Aug. 23 at 5 p.m. at Billingsley Church of God.

Pastor Wendell Kelley will be officiating. A reception will follow. All family and friends are invited to attend. After a honeymoon in Branson, Miss. the couple will reside in Clanton.
