ATLANTA – Atlanta Braves left-hander Tom Glavine allowed three hits and one run with one walk and four strikeouts in a four-inning rehab start for Class A Myrtle Beach on Monday.

The 42-year-old Glavine threw 53 pitches and reported no pain or discomfort.

He has been out of action for eight weeks, recovering from a partially torn flexor tendon near his left elbow.

It was his first minor league game in 22 years since Glavine joined the Braves on Aug. 14, 1987.
