The crowning of two queens

Young Miss and Miss Chilton County pageants were held last night at Chilton County High School.

In the Young Miss Chilton County Pageant, the top 10 were named as Mary Minor, Kristen Mazingo, Samantha Smith, Makayla Kersh, Kelcie Beam, Courtney Gunn, Candice Williams and Makenzie Roller. The winning court was announced as Ad Sales Abigale Porter; Fourth Alternate, Makayla Kersh; Third Alternate, Mary Minor, Second Alternate, Kelcie Beam; First Alternate, Resha Grace and Queen, Candice Williams.

In the Miss Chilton County Pageant, the top 10 were named as Kimberly Gulledge, Kayla Posey, Katie Lawrence, Kayla Boddie, Connie Dale, Magenn McGriff, Tamara Cleckler, Allison Cobb, Tiffany Deavers and Katherine Popwell. The winning court was announced as Queen, Kayla Boddie; Ad Sales, Tamara Cleckler; Fourth Alternate, Katie Popwell; Third Alternate, Kayla Posey, Second Alternate and Miss Congeniality, Kimberly Gulledge; First Alternate, Allison Cobb.
