Prayer Walk set for Sunday

People will gather at Chilton County’s public schools Sunday to participate in the biannual Prayer Walk for Schools.

The event is held twice a year, once before each new school year and once before summer break, in support of Chilton County’s students and everyone who is involved in education.

The Prayer Walk is sponsored by the Chilton Baptist Association but is open to everyone.

“Please give our children the most important gift that you can give them,” said coordinator Bobbie Traywick. “Pray for them both in school and out of school. Also pray for the superintendent, board of education and entire staff.”

People are asked to visit their school of choice, either at their convenience or at the times listed below (please note the date change for Jemison Middle and High schools):
