Farris Lee Burnett Blackmon, 85, of Jemison died Tuesday, July 22, at her residence.
She was born on Wednesday, Dec. 27, 1922, in Perry County, daughter of the late Sam Dudley Burnett and the late Mettie Octeva Middlebrooks.
She was a pattern drawer for Siluria Mills for 30 years.
Surviving are her three daughters, Mrs. Peggy Ann Ellison of Indian Springs, Mrs. Willie Lee Pate of Thorsby, Mrs. Rena Mae Littleton of Clanton; nine grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, July 24, at Martin Funeral Home.
Services will be held Friday, July 25, at 2 p.m. at Jemison First Baptist Church with the Rev. Thomas E. Hilyer officiating.
Interment will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery, Jemison.
