Krisha Lynette Herring and Wayne Eugene Atcheson of Verbena are happy to announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.

The bride elect is the daughter of Earl and Rhonda Herring of Columbia and the late Carol Herring of Oceanside, Calif.; and the granddaughter of Richard and Frances Lulow of Illinois and the late Myrtice Herring of Georgia.

Herring is a graduate of Dothan High School and is currently employed with Flowers Bakery of Montgomery.

The prospective groom is the son of Thomas and Jeanene Atcheson of Stanton, and the grandson of the late Ernest and Toni Bell Plummer of Stanton and the late Robert and Minnie Pearl Atcheson of Maplesville. He is a graduate of Maplesville High School and is currently employed at Georgia Pacific.

The wedding is scheduled for Saturday, July 19, 2 p.m. at Lakeview Place Wedding Chapel.
