Three people were injured due to a dune buggy crash on County Road 32 Wednesday night.

Three miles east of Clanton at the intersection County Road 454, the dune buggy collided with a 2001 Ford Mustang collided around 8 p.m.

At least one person was ejected from the dune buggy, and two others were injured. The victims were identified as James Shaw, 26, of Clanton; Christopher Johnson, 23; and Christy Davis, 23. Shaw was driving the dune buggy.

The driver of the Ford Mustang was not injured in the crash.

The East Chilton Fire Department responded to the crash, and state troopers are investigating the crash.
