One woman was injured in a single vehicle crash off of Highway this morning when a car ran through a house.

Around 8 a.m., the woman was driving a Buick Century on Highway 31 north when her vehicle left the road near Shelby Concrete and went through the living room of a home.

No one was home at the time of the crash, and the driver was transported to Chilton Medical Center with apparently no life-threatening injuries.

Collins Chapel Fire Department along with state troopers and Chilton County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene.

State troopers are investigating the crash.
