Vicky Holston of Clanton, Alabama recently had an artwork accepted and displayed at the beautiful Lanarck at Millbrook, Alabama.

The juror of this show was artist Tommy Morehead.

Holston’s artwork was an oil painting of a male cardinal sitting on an in bloom dogwood limb.

This show was the Fourth Annual Alabama Flora and Fauna Art Show sponsored by the Alabama Wildlife Federation (AWF). According to Alabama Wildlife Federation, the purpose of this show is “to increase artists’ appreciation for the native plants and animals of Alabama, recognize and highlight outstanding artists….”

Holston’s painting is now also on display until June 30 at Peoples Southern Bank for the Chilton County Peach Festival Art Show.
