Six winners announced for Photogenic Contest

The Clanton Advertiser has released the winners of its Peach Photogenic Contest.

The winners are Alexa Grace “Lexie” Deavers of Jemison for the age 0-1 division, Claire Jolley of Clanton for the 2- to 4-year-old division, Chloe Eddins of Jemison for the 5- to 7-year-old division, Makenzie Roller of Clanton for the 8- to 10-year-old division, Natalie Peoples of Clanton for the 11- to 14-year-old division and Macy McGriff of Jemison for the 15- to 18-year-old division.

Deavers is the daughter of Josh and Holly Deavers, Jolley is the daughter of Lance and Amy Jolley and Eddins is the daughter of Otis and Stephanie Eddins. Greg and Gena Roller are Makenzie’s parents, Peoples is the daughter of Jessie and Lori Peoples and McGriff is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn McGriff.

An independent panel of three judges selected these six winners out of 141 entrants.

“We appreciate everyone that participated in the Peach Photogenic contest,” said Sheryl Smith, classified manager for the Advertiser. “They’re all winners; the judges always have a difficult time picking one winner in each category.”

Smith asks that all winners contact her at 755-5747 by noon today. The winners will receive plaques and have the opportunity to ride in the Peach Parade on Saturday.
