It doesn't matter if both senators suspend their campaign to help with the crisis, they can't fix the economy by themselves. So many people love the fact that they can bash Barack Obama and John McCain but in all honesty, who really cares about what people in a small "COUNTRY" county in the middle of Alabama thinks? News flash...No one. I don't know who I am going to vote for. Both candidates have flaws. So what, Obama has been in the senate for a short time period but what does McCain have. He's been in there for years and he hasn't been to a session in Washington since April 2007. All of a sudden he's running for President and he has this huge URGENCY to get to Washington!!! Get the facts...Become politically inclined. They do teach politics in the COUNTRY don't they???

I can't imagine the pain of the family and friends who lost their loved one today. I would also like to comment on the comment that was posted by mimisnumber1. I sit here and I think to myself that someone will lay down tonight without their husband, dad, brother, uncle, friend or cousin and all you can mainly talk about in your comment is "The Sheriff's Dept." This news story was not the opportunity to bring up the Special Operations Unit. And why would you say that the scene today could have been a lot worse if it wasn't for those officers. I truly thank those officers and I thank God for protecting them during this search but how much worse could it be? "My GOD, a man is dead!" My heart and prayers goes out to this family today and for many days to come.

First of all, this sign is not affiliated with the BP at all. Second, I think whoever authorized this sign should have had sense enough to know that Obama isn't on that ticket by himself. Biden should've been acknowledged as well. Third, this sign is tacky and it makes the Democratic Committee of this County look bad.
