It's a shame..... We went to the park several times last year. There were people riding four-wheelers at full speed thru the park (no helmets). Only a matter of time before there's a serious injury. We called Jemison's finest which showed up almost an hour after the fact. It's sad.

The Centreville / Brent Walmart does not sell alcohol because it's in Bibb county which is still dry. I was told that the owners (the Hamm's) of the piggly wiggly in Jemison has already said they will not sell alcohol. The piggly wiggly store in Montevallo does not sell tobacco products. I believe the pig in Jemison sells tobacco.
I do not patronize the Jemison pig because of the rude sign at the entrance which states "no public restrooms, don't even ask". Has anyone besides myself ever noticed this sign?? How insensitive can a business be??
I hope your children don't have to "go" while you're doing your shopping. You'll have to stop shopping and leave the store as I did.

There has to be an arrest made every once in a while or else the billions of dollars spent every year in the U.S. in this drug war would not be justified. Without the drug war how many unemployed officers would there be in the U.S.??? How would they pay for their new cars??? Can you say"cash cow"? I don't want drugs on our streets either. But there must be a better way....

I live just down the road from the daycare and was blown away when I heard of this. Does anyone know if this man has been going through a divorce or some maritable problems?? If so these types of situations will usually bring forth accusations related to abuse or molestation.
I do not know this man but he is innocent until his guilt is proven. I will not judge him till such time.
I do know DADS are wrongly accused many times and justice is lacking for DADS. We are not all deadbeats and we do not all molest our children.
If this man has been wrongly accused, the accuser should be ran out of the county.
I don't know either party invovled, but if this man is found innocent of this I am for prosecution of the accuser.
Parental Alienation Syndrome is real and it's time people become more aware of it. It is possible to brainwash a child into thinking that they have been victimized and it happens across this country every day. Again, I do not know the facts. But please let's not convict this man in our minds just yet.

My brother is a police officer in Jefferson County and worked for the county jail there for several years. The same thing has happened there on more than one occasion.
I guess if there were a loss of life involved there would then be more personal accountability and responsibility.

Eventually they're going to rob someone with a firearm. Maybe that'll send a message....In these times of budget cuts I wouldn't be too dependant on law enforcement
protecting my life and my property.

My ex-wife has been repeatedly allowed entrance through the side doors during our hearings last year, bypassing the security measures in place.... Why you ask?? Because she's an ex- courthouse employee and a friend of the courts. So much for courthouse security.
