I remember *Maw-bates*. I used to live down by the river. She was such a kind-hearted woman. She always greeted her customers with a big ol smile, and always gave my kids candy when they walked in the door. She will certainly be missed by many. My prayers go out to her family, May God comfort you in your time of need.

I pray for a speedy recovery for all involved. And a *WELL DONE TO CLANTONS FINEST* I heard this on my scanner, and their response time was amazing. Job well done, to all medical, police officials.

My prayers go out to all of the families involved. Please, those of you talking about robberies, politics and so on.....remember this is comments to be made for the incident, and the victim. NOT for things he may or may not have done wrong in his life(beofre the military or after)it doesnt matter-he is gone, and respect is needed for him, and his family. God bless

this would be why Clanton needs to stop wasting $$ on things we dont need, and build something for the kids in the community to do(constructive). I realize this will not stop all of the things that some teens insist on doing, but it would give them an option. and get them out of the house. Great job D.bone

Alive, I am sorry for the loss of your goats. I know all too well the situation you are in, and trying to keep the peace. But dog-gonnit, its not fair. People should have to pay for the dammage their pets do)if they are gonna let'em run loose), And yes, the humane society as of 2 weeks are charging for dropping of strays. My daughter also, had a pet rat- and it was diagnosed with cancer. It was bleeding from its eyes, and nose. I called the humkane society for a quick euthanization to put the poor little rat out of its mysery. They first told me that it would be $32.00, then when I threw a fit on the phone they said, well..... a $10.00 donation would be alright. C'mon, gimme a break. I used to work there, I know the meds they use for euthanoization dont cost that much $. They make it so expensive, that its hard to take pets there that dont belong to you, that are running loose. Sorry got a little off of the subject. Ya'll have a blessed night :)
On Do you see stray cats and dogs on your property often?
