Finally, something that no one is argueing or complaining about on this site! What a great thing to help the Humane Society and bring the community together too!

The far corners of the county are rarely patrolled and many drug trafficers know this.

I don't know anything about this particular situation-wasn't there, but "300+ hundred people hollering at official"?
I do know this- As a public school employee for 30 years, I saw parents climb a fence at a baseball game and attack the other team and officials.I saw parents throw items at judges at beauty pagent judges.I saw a parent choke a teacher who was directing a play in the middle of the production. I saw a parent use an umbrella to hit a teacher who was directing traffic at graduation ceremony. I saw a mob of parents tear down a fence at a football game. Who was penalized in everyone of these incidents? THE STUDENTS. Who was embarrassed ? THE STUDENTS.
300+ people hollering at officials??People arrested? Police waving guns? What are we adults thinking ? It is a kid's competition for heaven's sake!
The kids cussing probably learned those words from some adult!!

Thanks to the Kiwanis Club for all they do.
Congratulations to the 4Hers whose booth won first place and to all the youth who competed in the livestock shows. The hometown friendly competions and displays of items grown or made by our friends and neighbors are what makes the fair so special!

thank you to myhumbleopinion,mrsaf,and njones.
Remember perents, you do have a choice-you can prepare your child's meals everyday if you do not want to buy school lunch. Please remember that while you must prepare meals for your family only, the school is feeding hundreds of people every day.Due to absent students and unannounced guests, they never know how many they must feed until right before time to begin cooking. Also, they must use their allotment of food items required by the federal gov. Their job is not easy.

I am truly sorry that my comments stirred up so much hate.I can't believe that Christians can turn on each other so quickly. This is certainly not a good example for us to be showing the nonbelievers.
By the way, I was NOT making any kind of a comment on any local church!!I WAS commenting about the church which I once attended which split, not once, but twice over differences over how to build and expand. What was once a beautiful congregation of followers no longer needs a bigger building because we could not agree over the bricks.Because of the controversy, we were no longer able to carry on wonderful works of kindness like the church in the article. The church is not even in this state! Dunnyo, whatever made you think I was talking to your congregation? Philippians was meant to encourage!Grace to you and peace be with you.
