What is the famous old adage? There are ALWAYS 2 sides to every story. We have not heard the other story. In fact, we heard someone else's account of a story. Sounds like a lot of B/S to me. I am not gonna digress further about my hatred for law enforcement- but- it does seem hard to believe that after having been attacked, tased, ATTEMPTED to be ran over...then having the abilities to hit 2 different tires and the glass of a car and than again being disarmed of his own sidearm...that we have not heard the correct story in the correct sequence of events. WAIT...I can't not talk about our deputies who dress as though they are members of the German Gestapo in their black knee boots and black cargo pants....wait, sorry, I take it back....these people are so important (sic) and put their life on the line everyday (sic). kidding-not...Point being...there was definitely something else going on here. Glad he wasn't hurt worse...he may need some more training??? I wonder if this deputy has participated in any of these "police contests" where Chilton has WON 1ST PLACE? Also- so the blueline tags are so everyone can identify ****** officers in plain wrappers or personal vehicles? Oh yeah, let me add one more thing....INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY.

Something came up to me just this week while at the Sheriff's office. Who decides the purchase price of a gun permit and who decides where the money is spent? I myself had mine reissued and was dismayed that the fee had risen again- this time to $25. When I wrote out the check for my permit to Sheriff Kevin Davis- I wondered..... how many permits are issued each year and how much income is generated from the permits......seems to me that if the sheriff is in control of the permitting process and the funds from such-a question comes to mind as to how many are declined versus approved.

Sunny04..."All law enforcement put their lives on the line everyday" Do you really believe this crap? Maybe by taking to big of a bite of the free or discounted lunch they enjoy regularly. Or, maybe they risk pneumonia from overexposure to their Crown Vic's A/C....but hardly does any of our overweight/out-of-shape, officers, deputies, reserves, troopers or "task force personnel" do it everyday in the line of duty. By the way- the last time I checked- choosing a career in LAW ENFORCEMENT was just that- a CHOICE! I have little to no concern/sympathy for someone who makes the poor choice to wear a sh** brown county uniform or a ridiculous trooper "hat" so they can have a gun and badge and flaunt their AUTHORITY to others.

As for the injured man and his family -my thoughts and prayers are with you at this time- may GOD bless you and your family in a special way.
You know what davenport...I get real tired of ignorant people saying they are " real tired of reading these tacky comments". Your eyes have something called "eyelids"- if you can't bear to read the comments-close them. I may not respect your comment(s)- but I do respect your right to post one here-as should you.

Like I said yesterday- SPEED is ALWAYS a factor in an accident. If your auto was stopped in the driveway- its highly unlikely it will be involved in a crash.

I remember the 1st day of school of my seventh grade year. We had one guy who already had his drivers license (I was 12) and was quite the troublemaker and disprupted the learning process somewhat...most in my class passed him that year and he fell behind even further- I think he finally quit after completing the 8th grade- at 18; point being he was never going to complete high school- why let him keep others from getting the full benefit of learning? Also...a 16 yr old guy in the same class as 12-13 yr old girls??? Anyone want their 12 yr old daughter around him all day??

Sorry dixie. My comment towards you was not cynical at all; more like condescending in nature-
