I wish it were not true, but Jemison downtown is kinda ugly. But we love our town and our mayor and city council. They have made many improvements and I think we're headed in the right direction.

I wonder if a stop going both ways would be a solution until they can redo the bridge. It is pretty bad. Of course, everyone (including me) needs to slow down on that road. It is like the Indianapolis 500 out there.

This is a very serious problem in our county. One that needs to be addressed by law enforcement, our churches, our schools, everyone working together. IT IS SO VERY SAD for the children. When you are addicted, nothing else matters. Not even children. Somebody needs to stand up and take ownership of this mess. Have some kind of strategy, a plan, something. If we could take care of the drug epidemic, the majority of our other social issues would be taken care of. But how do we do that?
