Wow! I can't believe some of the comments coming from people on here. I accepted Christ almost 4 yrs ago and the person who led me to Christ is Johnny Giles. I am not praising Johnny's name, because I know Christ is the one who used him to soften my hard heart and hang out with me and not condemn me for the things I was doing. He loved me as a friend through all my faults and that is what got me started going to church period. I feel like I know his heart and he is a soldier for God. I don't really care for some of the music either, but if you think there is only one brand of music to reach people you are wrong in my opinion. We are all committing one of the worst sins by judging anybody by their looks or music. Sure everything has room for improvement and I am sure it will be looked at. We all tend to look at the negative and not at the kids that commited their lives to God! I know some of the people posting things on here and I know several things they have done if brought to the light they would probably be condemned just like some people are doing this event. I for one will not condemn anyone for their past, because mine was not great , especially spiritually. I still fall short everyday and so does everyone else, we all should examine our own lives before judging someone else. I am not trying to call out anyone or think my opinion is any more valuable than any other poster here, but I was at the event Saturday night and I have to say I was blessed.
Thank you God for all of those people who accepted you into their hearts and lives.

I would like to see this happen,because in the long run this could really help the kids who get caught and may prevent some kids from ever trying it.

Hunka, my name is Darryl Cummings and I am very involved with CCHS athletics. I can assure you that this camp is at no cost to anyone other than the parents of the kids and the ATHLETIC department at CCHS. The current AD along with the Principal has gotten CCHS athletics from $20,000 in debt they inherited to the plus side in one season of sports. I don't know if they are miracle workers or if the money was just mis-managed before. In any case I just wanted to respond to your concerns , which are very legitimate.

I know the Jones kid and he is 16 and was in the 8th grade which told me he was not a very self motivated person. I had found out through several of his classmates he was a known drug dealer through out the school. I personally talked to the kid about it and he never denied it. I talked to him about making good decisions and trying to make something of himself and I would help him anyway I could. Well he shot that to H*** (no pun intended) This kid has had a lot of people try and help him ,so he has no excuse, I hope they throw away the key!
