Sounds like a sore loser to me. It takes hours upon hours for the volunteers to put on these county pageants. The winners are just three peoples opinion ( the judges). They are certified judges and these county pageants are very professional when it comes to the judges. Having sit on the board of more than one of these pageants, I know that the judges are not obtained by the individuals that are physically working with the girls due to the fact of risking the inappropriate comments like bamagrad99's. Holly Deavers is one of the most loving individuals in Chilton County and volunteers her time away from her own family to promote Chilton County events. You are really teaching your child to be a "good sport". If the pageants make you that angry the don't enter them. They are supposed to be fun for the girls. By the way, the girls do have fun, It's the mothers that get all bent out of shape. Let's get back to the real reason for the article. Grant money for our special education kids.
