Oh, and one more thing. Here's the exact quote from Dominique Franks:

"If you look at the three best quarterbacks in the country, (they) came from the Big 12. The three best receivers in the country came from the Big 12. The three best tight ends came from the Big 12. So we've faced some great offenses and a lot of people don't understand that other conferences don't have what we face."

Interviewer: So if the three best QBs are in the Big 12, does that make Tebow No. 4?

"Yup. I think our quarterbacks are better. Just the way they conduct themselves and how they play on the field. I just think, playing against those guys, it's a lot harder to prepare for those guys than it is for Tebow."

Note that he NEVER implied that Tebow plays in the Big 12 as you stated. You guys do actually check your stats and quotes down there in Alabama before you write a story, right?

Just a few points for your consideration Mr. Jones:

First, it was announced almost a month ago that Demarco Murray would not be playing in the title game, so your comment under the special teams section is inaccurate.

I's also like to post some relevant stats for your review as you seem to be completely ignoring some of the most important ones:

Offensive points scored:
OU - 702 FL - 587 Edge = OU

Defensive points allowed:
OU - 319 FL - 167 Edge = FL

Offensive yards per game:
OU - 562.08 FL - 442.38 Edge = OU

Defensive yards allowed per game:
OU - 359.08 FL - 279.31 Edge = FL

Rushing Defense yards allowed per game:
OU - 106 FL - 105 Edge = Tie

Passing Defense yards allowed per game:
OU - 117.14 FL - 94.17 Edge = FL

Total rushing yards:
OU - 2672 FL - 2987 Edge = FL

Total passing yards:
OU - 4635 FL - 2764 Edge = OU

Kickoff Returns:
OU - 25.17 FL - 21.83 Edge = OU

Punt Returns:
OU - 8.29 FL - 14.41 Edge = FL

Sacks:
OU - 42 FL - 32 Edge = OU

Sacks allowed:
OU - 11 FL - 16 Edge = OU

Tackles for Loss:
OU - 101 FL - 67 Edge = OU

Margin of victory:
OU - 383 FL - 420 Edge = FL

Turnover margin:
OU - 1.77 (ranked 1st in the nation) FL - 1.69 (ranked 2nd in the nation) Edge = OU (barely)

Ranked opponents played:
OU - 7 FL - 5 Edge = OU

Combined opponents record:
OU - 91-68 FL - 92-69 Edge = Tie

Opponents with a +.500 winning percentage:
OU - 7 FL - 7 Edge = Tie

Total number of home games played (home field advantage):
OU - 6 FL - 8 Edge = OU

1st place rankings in Big 12/SEC:
OU - 8 FL - 8 Edge = Tie

2nd Place rankings in Big 12/SEC:
OU - 6 FL - 2 Edge = OU

1st place rankings nationally:
OU - 3 (Scoring Offense, Turnover margin, Passing Efficiency) FL - 0 Edge = OU

That puts the final stat count at OU - 12, FL - 6, and Ties - 4. I'm sure you could easily find alternate stats and show Florida as the leader, but the stats I've referenced above are the most relevant ones to look at when attempting to determine who the better team really is.

While I'm not completely convinced that the Sooners will win tonight, I do believe that they are the better overall team between the two. In looking at the stats, Florida is only a dominant leader in defense and punt returns. Those two alone are not enough to so confidently declare them the eventual winner as you have done.

Feel free to rebut. Go Sooners!
