HOW IN THE WORLD COULD ANYONE FORGET THAT DAY?
IT DEFINITELY WAS THE MOST HORRIBLE DAY OF MY LIFE.
IF WE FORGET, WE MIGHT LET OUR GUARD DOWN AND LET SOMETHING LIKE THAT HAPPEN AGAIN...I HOPE OUR COUNTRY AND OUR MILITARY WILL BE ON HIGH ALERT FROM NOW ON, IT SEEMS TO BE WHAT THEY HAVE TO DO TO KEEP US AS SAFE AS POSSIBLE. MOST OF US IN THE UNITED STATES HAVE BEEN SO SHELTERED, WE CAN NOT IMAGINE THE THINGS THAT GO ON IN OTHER COUNTRIES; THE KILLINGS, BOMBINGS, RIOTING DAILY, ETC.
MAY WE ALWAYS BE "THE HOME OF THE FREE".

Unfortunately, many in the United States have become complacent. I don't believe it's so much "forgotten" as it is "faded" in memory. I distinctly remember every specific detail of that morning, and have no doubt that most other people, adults anyway, remember it as well. The problem to me is that the national media, in one more effort to stand politically correct, didn't want us to remember just how horrible that day was for us. I think they should play every available video, no matter how horrible, all day on every September 11 as well as showing them throughout the year. I don't believe that the United States has fewer enemies willing to do the same thing or worse, and when we let our guard down and weaken our military, we may as well invite our enemies to hurt us again! We should not forget, but many of us are at the very least ignoring the occasion.
