Helping hand: Thorsby fire captain Clay Bentley assists 11-year-old Bryan Baker during the tug-and-spray competition at Thorsby’s Swedish Fest yesterday. This event was part of the firefighter challenge sponsored by the Thorsby Fire Department. Several county fire departments participated in the event. This was part of a fundraiser for muscular dystrophy.
