Clanton Elementary to transform into Christmas village
Published Friday, November 20, 2009
Come support the Clanton community and jump into the holiday spirit as the Clanton Elementary School lunchroom is transformed into a gingerbread village!
CES will host its inaugural Breakfast with Santa Clause on Saturday, December 5 from 7 a.m. until 11 a.m.
Experience the excitement of this family event and enjoy a pancake breakfast as you sing Christmas carols and make holiday ornaments. Secret Santa shopping will be available, as well as photo time with Santa.
“We are going to have a great Santa this year,” said CES principal Rebecca Threlkeld. “We are trying to provide a local opportunity for community members to take family Christmas photos, and our students are really excited about it.” Threlkeld said.
Tickets for breakfast are $5 and can be purchased from any CES student from the CES office. Photos with Santa are an additional cost. For more information, contact Clanton Elementary School at 280-2730.
