Clanton First United Methodist Church invites the community to “Let There Be Light, A Christmas Choir Celebration” Dec. 12 in the Helen E. Parrish Activity Center on the church campus at 207 8th St. North.

Performances will be at 5 and 7 p.m. Dinner will be prepared by chef Bryan Hilyer and served by the FUMC youth.

The cantata, “Let There Be Light,” created by Bradley Knight and Johnathan Crumpton and arranged and orchestrated by Bradley Knight, will be performed by the chancel choir and a professional orchestra drawn from local musicians and others from surrounding counties.

Greg Faulkner, minister of music at Clanton First United Methodist Church, will conduct.

“Let There Be Light” is free and open to the public, but tickets are required in order to reserve table space.

Tickets may be obtained at the church office or from any FUMC choir member.
