Thanks to Rotary Club for hard work on parade
Published Thursday, November 12, 2009
Dear Editor,
I would like to thank Roger Yeargan and the Rotary Club for the time and effort that they put into the Christmas Parade each year.
I am with a group that has participated in the Christmas Parade since 1967 and have had the privilege of working with the Rotary members due to this.
If you have never worked as a volunteer with a civic organization, it is difficult to understand how much time and energy it requires, with very little expected in return.
So, thank you Mr. Yeargan and all the Rotary members who contribute to making Christmas special.
Karen Mitchell

Yes, Thank you for the hard work. I moved here from a large city in Ohio 15 yers ago. They had no such thing. And for all these years now, Myself and my 2 kids (16,13)have been able to enjoy a Christmas Parade that is out of this world(in my opinion) Well said Ms. Mitchell.
