Had I made that comment, I would have been chastised for being a jerk, bragging, a felon, a smart aleck, etc... Is Maplesville really big enough to have a parade with more than one firetruck and a mule?

Maybe Clanton could loan us 10 or 12 of their trucks. Wonder if we could swing the S.W.A.T. vehicle also?

No matter the size or what the town has for the parad, just remember that it is for the CHILDREN. Christmas is a great time of year!!!!!!! Also just remember that a mule was at the birth of the one in charge today!!!!!!!!!!!!

Growing up in Maplesville, some of the best holiday memories are going to the Christmas parade in town. They always had a great turnout and great participation from the community. Lots of candy and you could never find a place to park all the way from the high school down to the grocery store. Maplesville may be a small town but the town always tries to put a smile on the children's faces from the homecoming parade to the Christmas parade to Toys for Kids. I think it is great that Maplesville can do this and it would be wonderful if all the small communities could.
