The Chilton County Commission meeting has been rescheduled for Tuesday, May 26 at 6 p.m. Most county services will not be available Monday.
“The courthouse will be closed on Monday,” Tim Mims, chairman of the County Commission, said. “I reckon the only ones working will be the Sheriff’s Department. They never close.”

In Maplesville, garbage pickup scheduled for Monday will be picked up Tuesday.
In Thorsby, garbage pickup will be pushed back, with Monday pickup coming on Tuesday and Tuesday pickup coming on Thursday.

Thank you for sharimg that info with us. It 's no matter that these offices are closed Clanton is pretty much dead any way. Most of us go to Shelby or Prattville to shop. We are sick of the walmart and the one in shelby is cheaper and more friendly
