Nolen crowned 2009 Little Miss Peach queen

Grace Nolen was crowned the 2009 Little Miss Peach Saturday night at the Chilton County High School auditorium.

2009 Little Miss Peach Queen Grace Nolen is congratulated by '08 queen Karah Smitherman at the end of the pageant Saturday at the Chilton County High School auditorium.
The 2008 Little Miss Peach Karah Smitherman passed on her title to Nolen, 7, of Clanton, also the casual-wear winner.
Katie Littlefield was the first runner-up, Lydia Patterson was the second alternate, Lauren Hay was the third alternate and Maddy Barrington was the fourth alternate.
The Little Miss Peach pageant celebrated its 40th year with many of the past Little Miss Peach queens being recognized.
The next pageant, Young Miss Peach, will be held Monday at 6:30 p.m. in the CCHS auditorium.
