Practice fire: Cadets with the Thorsby fire training school, along with firefighters from the Clanton Fire Department, burned a home in Clanton Tuesday to gain real-fire experience fighting fires. The cadets will burn another home Wednesday on Pinedale Road in Clanton. This is the final week of the cadet’s 10-week training course, earning their firefighter certification.

The cadets will burn another home Wednesday on Pinedale Road in Clanton. This is the final week of the cadet’s 10-week training course, earning their firefighter certification.
