Boys: Jay Tyus, Billingsley track and field

• qualified for the Class 1A state track and field meet in all four events he competed in at the section meet and scored 36 points for the Bears out of a possible 40 with the best sectional finish in the 110-meter hurdles, triple jump and 300-meter hurdles and the third-best finish in the long jump

Boys honorable mention

• Marcus Bray, Thorsby track and field

• Andy Cannon, Chilton County track and field

• Cody Cummings, Chilton County tennis

• Blake Jenkins, Chilton County golf

• Zac Langston, Jemison golf

• Blake Lawley, Isabella track and field

• Andrew Morton, Jemison tennis

Girls: Mary Gasson, Thorsby track and field

• qualified for the Class 2A state track and field meet in all four events she competed in at the section meet for the fourth consecutive year by finishing first in the long jump, second in the 400-meter run, third in the javelin and fourth in the discus

Girls honorable mention

• Brittany Brown, Billingsley track and field

• Courtney Killingsworth, Maplesville softball

• Crystal Motley, Billingsley softball
