— The Isabella Mustangs improved to 4-1 with a dominating 42-8 win over Verbena. The Red Devils fell to 2-3.

Chelsea 26, Jemison 14

JEMISON - Blake Yance's 96-yard touchdown pass to Garrett Salter early in the fourth quarter sealed a controversial 26-14 win to hand Jemison its first defeat of the season.

Jemison had a chance to cut the lead when they got down to the Chelsea 2-yard line. Eric Argo appeared to throw an incomplete pass to Javea Swindle, but the referees ruled the pass as a catch and fumble, which was recovered by Chelsea.

Jemison coaches argued the call and were flagged twice for unsportsmanlike conduct.
