Clanton Police reports for Sept. 23

The following is an activity detail summary of the Clanton Police Department from Thursday, Sept. 11 through Wednesday, Sept. 17:
Arrests
• Clanton Police made the following arrests on misdemeanor charges (numerals indicate the number of arrests made for each offense): allowing livestock to run at large (1), disorderly conduct (3), harassment (1), public intoxication (3), assault on officer (1), resisting arrest (1), driving under the influence (2), possession of marijuana second degree (1), improper tag (1).
Incidents
• Unlawful possession of controlled substance/possession of drug paraphernalia - Sept. 10, 11:45 p.m. at Cloverleaf Motel. A plastic pen pipe for meth and a small bag of white powder were recovered.
• Theft of property - Sept. 12, 8:30 a.m. at Sav-Mor Foods, Dixie Shopping Center. A container of Motrin infant drops and a container of Dimetapp toddler’s cold and cough at a combined value of $14 were stolen.
• Harassment - Sept. 11 at 9 a.m. in the 800th block of Lake Mitchell Road.
• Theft of property - Sept. 11 between 1:30 and 4:30 p.m. at Rolling Oaks Apartments. A cell phone, jewelry box and Sentry safe containing birth certificates and two $1 silver certificates - at a combined value of $225 - were stolen. Also, a screen door and window screen sustained $165 in damages.
• Unlawful possession of controlled substance/drug paraphernalia - Sept. 10 between 7:30 and 7:37 p.m. at I-65 Exit 205.
• Theft of property - Sept. 12 between 3:30 and 3:45 p.m. in the 1300th block of Woodfin Lane. A bracelet, blouse and pair of jeans valued at $48 were stolen.
• Burglary/theft of property - Sept. 12 between 9:30 a.m. and 2:25 p.m. at Rolling Oaks Apartments. A DVD player, 100 CDs and 20 DVDs at a combined value of $1,700 were stolen.
• Theft of property/burglary - Sept. 13 between 5 and 5:30 p.m. in the 100th block of Lilly Street. One EQU computer and one DFS Internet modem and cord at a combined value of $11,322.18 were stolen.
• Harassment - Sept. 13 between 4 and 5 p.m. in the 1400th block of Fourth Avenue South.
• Assault - Sept. 14 between 1:40 and 1:50 a.m. at Skylight Bar.
• Burglary - Sept. 14 between 2 and 3 a.m. in the 200th block of Seventh Street South. Property sustained an estimated $300 in damages.
• Menacing - Sept. 13 at 1 a.m. in the 1400th block of Fourth Avenue South.
• Burglary/theft of property - between 7 p.m. Sept. 13 and 11 a.m. Sept. 14, in the 500th block of Jackson Street. A 38-caliber Smith & Wesson revolver (nickel), 410 pump shotgun, two Sony flat screen TVs, Dell desktop computer, Dell laptop computer and a comic book collection were stolen.
• Burglary/theft of property third degree - Assorted currency, a brown, single-fold wallet containing license and Social Security card - at a combined value of $220 - were stolen.
• Criminal mischief third degree/disorderly conduct - Sept. 14 between 3:45 and 4:25 p.m. in the 1400th block of Fourth Avenue South.
• Criminal mischief/unlawful breaking and entering vehicle - Sept. 13 between 9 and 9:30 p.m. in the 300th block of Smith Street. The driver’s side door window of a 1998 Kia Sephia sustained $100 in damages.
• Unauthorized use of vehicle - Sept. 15 between 7:30 and 8:30 p.m. in the 1400th block of Second Avenue South. A red 1998 Pontiac Firebird was involved.
• Forgery/theft of property - Aug. 21 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. at Colonial Bank. Assorted currency amounting to $249 was stolen.
• Harassment - Sept. 15 between 1:30 and 3:30 p.m. in the 1000th block of Second Avenue North.
• Theft of property - between 4:55 p.m. Sept. 15 and 9 a.m. Sept. 16, in the 600th block of Seventh Street. A brown lock box (book) and U.S. currency at a combined value of $140 were stolen.
• Harassment - Sept. 17 between 8:20 and 8:40 a.m. in the 1400th block of Fourth Avenue South.
