4 schools celebrate homecoming

Four local high schools will be having their homecoming football games Friday night. They are Chilton County, Jemison, Billingsley and Marbury.

Chilton County and Marbury will be having parades. CCHS’s parade will begin at 3:45 p.m. at Fred’s. Marbury will have a parade at the school at 2:30 p.m., which is following their pep rally and homecoming program.

Jemison and Billingsley won’t have parades, but Jemison will have a pep rally during school.

CCHS, Jemison and Marbury will all have homecoming festivities before the game at 6:30 p.m., in which the homecoming queen will be crowned. Billingsley will crown the 2008 homecoming queen at halftime.

All games are set to begin at 7 p.m. CCHS will play Monroe County. Jemison faces Dallas County. Billingsley plays Arkon, and Marbury gets B.B. Comer.
