Kristina Hollie Bates and Kenny Lee Connell
Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth H. Bates are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Kristina Hollie to Kenny Lee Connell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Tony Wayne Connell, all of Clanton.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Peggy J. Thompson and the late James F. Thompson, Jr., and Margie Louise Bates and the late Jeff Bates. She will be graduating from Auburn University in Montgomery in May of 2009 with a degree in Early Childhood Education and is currently employed by Serendipity Uniform in Montgomery, Alabama.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Ludolf and the late Mr. and Mrs. Napoleon Connell. He is currently employed by Alabama Power Company.
The wedding will take place Friday, Aug. 8 at 6:30 p.m. at Providence Baptist Church No. 2 in Clanton.
Reverend Jim Shannon will be performing the ceremony.
Family and friends are invited to attend.
