Sentence upheld

MONTGOMERY – An Alabama appeals court on Friday upheld the capital murder conviction and death sentence of Aundra Marshall, accused of killing a husband and wife in Bessemer because of an unpaid drug debt.

The Alabama Court of Criminal Appeals issued the ruling Friday in the case of the 35-year-old Marshall.Court records show the victims, Clarence Kile, 48, and his wife, Allison Kile, 39, were beaten, bound and then burned to death in the trunk of their car on Feb. 6, 2004.
