Engagement: Headley and Cobb
Wayne and Linda Puckett of Clanton are happy to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Cynthia Lyn Headley, to Jonathon Shelton Cobb, son of Johnny and Linda Cobb of Jemison.
The bride elect is the granddaughter of Delene Puckett and the late Clayton Puckett, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Marion Davidson.
She is a 1993 graduate of Chilton County High School and is currently employed with Clayton Homes.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. W.H. Gentry, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Bill Cobb. He is the great grandson of Thelma Shelton.
He is a 2002 graduate of Jemison High School and is currently employed with Thompson Tractor Company.
The wedding is set for June 27, 2009 at the Confederate Memorial Park in Mountain Creek at 11 a.m.
All friends and family are invited to attend.
The couple will spend their honeymoon in Jamaica and plan to reside in Clanton.
Engagement: Burdett and Coker
Mr. and Mrs. Bob Burdett of Maplesville are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Sheena Cole Burdett, to Joshua Ronald Coker, son of Mr. Ronald Coker and Ms. Debbie Coker of Clanton.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Nell Cummings and the late Mr. Robert Cummings of Isabella, and the late Mr. Carl Burdett and the late Mrs. Gertie Mae Henderson of Maplesville.
She graduated from Auburn University-Montgomery in 2005 with a Bachelor’s degree in nursing. She is a RN at Jackson Hospital.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. Lamar DeVaughn and the late Mrs. Agnes DeVaughn of Clanton, and Ms. Lucille Johnson and the late Mr. Nap Coker of Clanton.
He graduated from Isabella High School in 1997. He then graduated from Troy University-Montgomery in 2004 with a Bachelor’s degree in business administration. He works for Clanton Furniture Company.
The wedding will be held at 5 p.m. on June 20 at Mulberry Baptist Church. All friends and family are welcome to attend this special day.
Anniversary: Price
It is truly a test of love when 50 years come and go, and two people wake each morning as though it were the first.
Please come help us celebrate the renewing of vows on the 50-year wedding anniversary of Bobby and Jo Ann Price on Saturday, June 20, from 2-4 p.m. at Pates Chapel Baptist Church near Jemison.
