Frances Mae Davis Jones

Frances Mae Davis Jones, 89, of Clanton died Monday, July 17, at her residence.

She was born Tuesday, Nov. 8, 1927 in Chilton County, daughter of the late Oscar Davis and the late Nora Bryant Davis.

She was a homemaker.

Surviving are her daughters, Diane Baker O’Hern (David) of Pinson and Linda Jones Barrow (Ralph) of Clanton; grandchildren, John Anthony Baker (Amy) of Pinson, Elizabeth Barrow Vana of Carlsbad, New Mexico, and Gregory Owens Barrow (Annie) of Durham, North Carolina; and great-grandchildren, Randle Todd Baker, Kayleigh Frances May, Tanner James Vana, Molly Elizabeth Vana, and Amelia “Millie” Caroline Barrow.

Friends will be received from 10-11 a.m., Thursday, July 20 at Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church.

Services will be held Thursday, July 20 at 11 a.m. at Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church with Rev. Andrew Howell officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery, Clanton.
