Sharron Lavone Jones, 77, of Clanton, died March 3 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center.

He was born on March 12, 1938, in Haleyville, the son of the late J.G. Jones and the late Lucyl Reynolds.

He was a mechanic.

Surviving are his daughters, June Salter (Earl), Renee Edwards (Jason); sons, Darrin Jones (Beth Lyn), Aaron Jones (Tina); sister, Barbara Easterling; eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; brother, Curren Leon Jones, all of Clanton.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Maudine Jones.

Friends will be received from 9-10:45 a.m. March 5 at Martin Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be held March 5 at 11 a.m. at Martin Memorial Cemetery in Clanton with the Rev. Kent Dodson officiating.
