Chester “Rosco” Warren Lenoir, 63, of Plantersville, died Nov. 28.

He was born on Nov. 1, 1952, in Chilton County, the son of the late Chester Paul Lenoir and Anna Rosa Cooper Lenoir.

He was a farm laborer.

Surviving are his mother, Annie Cooper Lenoir of Hayden; brother, Ernest Edward Cooper of Selma; sisters, Mary Lenoir Rogers of Hayden, Jeanette Lenoir Hutchinson of Verbena, two nieces and five nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Chester Paul Lenoir and nephew, Steven Hutchinson.

Friends will be received from noon until 2 p.m. on Dec. 1 at Hillcrest Baptist Church.

Services will be held Dec. 1 at 2 p.m. at Hillcrest Baptist Church with the Rev. William Earl Short officiating.

Interment will follow in Hillcrest Baptist Cemetery in Maplesville.
