Thorsby’s junior varsity football team kept its record at a perfect 6-0 on the season with two more wins, over Vincent last week and over Prattville Christian Academy on Tuesday.

The Rebels defeated Vincent, 52-8, on Oct. 6.

Running back Christin Brown rushed 10 times for 277 yards and four touchdowns, and also ran in two 2-point conversions.

Quarterback Christian Fortner completed 6-of-8 passes for 85 yards, one touchdown and three 2-point conversions.

Fortner’s longest pass of the night was 51 yards to Cole Farris, who had a total of 57 yards receiving on three catches, including two 2-point conversions.

The Rebels continued to put up big numbers Tuesday in Prattville against PCA.

Brown carried the ball 19 times for 185 yards one touchdown and a 2-point conversion.

Fortner had nine carries for 96 yards and one touchdown while completing 10-of-15 passes for 101 yards, three touchdowns and two 2-point conversions.

Brody Barnett caught two passes for 40 yards and one touchdown, while Farris caught five for 38 yards, two touchdowns and one 2-point conversion.

The Rebels will end their season next week at home against Billingsley. Kickoff will be at 6:30 p.m.
