Billingsley fell 28-23 at Notasulga on Friday despite 246 yards and two touchdowns from D.J. Dunnigan.

The running back amassed the totals on 32 carries.

He also had two receptions for 30 yards.

Billingsley threw an interception in the Notasulga end zone with about 6 minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, and the Bears also allowed a 94-yard interception return for a touchdown earlier in the game, and lost a fumble deep in Notasulga territory.

Landon Reed scored Billingsley’s other touchdown on a 34-yard interception return for a touchdown.

The loss drops BHS to 3-4 overall and 2-2 in region play, while Notasulga improves to 5-2 and 3-0.
