Tigers finish second in volleyball tournament

Chilton County High School’s volleyball team finished second in a tournament hosted by Marbury over the weekend.

The Tigers fell to Isabella in the championship match.

For the tournament, Makenzy Wright posted five digs, two aces and 13 kills; Anna Horn had seven digs; Kyla Corley had 18 assists, 15 aces and three kills; Lesley Harton had 22 assists and four kills; Katelynn Smith had three digs and five aces; Johnna Robertson had five digs and five aces; Anna Mims had 15 aces and five kills; and Dana Kelley had 11 kills.

Lucas and Robertson were named to the all-tournament team.
