Evan Curtis Morrison Jr., 77, of Thorsby, died Sept. 2 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster.

He was born on June 4, 1938, in Jefferson County, the son of the late Evan C. Morrison Sr. and the late Louise White Morrison.

He was a salesman.

Surviving are wife, Peggy L. Morrison of Thorsby; daughter, Kellie L. Morrison of Thorsby; sons, Gary E. (Maria) Morrison of Alabaster and Robert A. Morrison of Thorsby; grandson, Justin R. Morrison of Clanton; granddaughters, Mallory M. Morrison of Alabaster, Caroline E. Morrison of Alabaster and Kristin N. Morrison of Thorsby.

He was preceded in death by his father, Evan C. Morrison, Sr.; mother, Louise Morrison Reid; and sister, Helen Morrison Shelnut.

Friends will be received from 10-11 a.m., Sept. 5 at Thorsby First Baptist.

Services will be held Sept. 5 at 11 a.m. at Thorsby First Baptist Church with the Rev. Marc Hodges officiating.

Interment will follow in Croft-Acton Cemetery in Hoover.
