Carl Edwin Wilson, 67, of Clanton, passed away July 7 at his residence.

He was born on Jan. 15, 1948, in Chilton County, the son of the late John Ottis Wilson and the late Willie Louise Martin Wilson.

He was a service tech for BellSouth Corporation.

Surviving are his wife, Bonita C. Wilson; daughters, Amy Deavers (Marty) and Carla Robinson (Michael); six grandchildren; brothers, James Buddy Collins, Johnny Dewayne Wilson and Sammy Don Wilson, all of Clanton; and James Ottis Wilson of Trussville.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Bill Wilson; wife, Reeta Wilson; and brother, J.P. Collins.

Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m. July 8 at Martin Funeral Home.

Services will be held July 9 at 1 p.m. at Martin Chapel with the Rev. Tommy Thornton officiating.

Interment will follow in Thorsby Memorial Cemetery in Thorsby.
