The Chilton County Courthouse along with the four municipalities in Chilton County will be closed for the Memorial Day holiday.

•Clanton City Hall will be closed on May 25 and garbage will be picked up around 4 a.m. that morning. Residents should put their garbage out on Sunday night. A Clanton City Council meeting originally scheduled for May 25 has been rescheduled for 5 p.m. May 26.

•Jemison City Hall will be closed on May 25 and the garbage pick-up will not be affected.

•Thorsby Town Hall will be closed on May 25 and garbage will be picked up Tuesday morning.

•Maplesville Town Hall will be closed on May 25 and garbage pick-up will not be affected.

•The Chilton County Commission canceled its regularly scheduled meeting and will meet again on June 8 at the Chilton County Courthouse.
