National Arbor Day will be celebrated in Chilton County on Thursday through an annual tree giveaway.

The giveaway will be held beginning at 9 a.m. behind Clanton City Hall near the Second Avenue entrance.

Seedling species to be given away include: Shumard Oak, Nuttall Oak, Red Oak, Crepe Myrtle, Bald Cypress, Cherrybark Oak and Red Bud.
